Personal Accounts from Summer 2000 Mission Trips

An updated account of life in Zimbabwe

Twelve Epworth members participated in a Volunteers In Mission trip to Zimbabwe this summer. That trip included work at an orphanage, a library and a school.

Their trip started over a year ago with a series of preparatory meetings. Their flight left Washington-Dulles Airport on June 20, 2000 and returned July 3, 2000.

The traveler-missionaries kept journals and took pictures of their endeavors. We are blessed to be able to share those journals with you here.

Now, here comes the hard part. Which one do you read first? Sarah Jane Weaver's journal or Joyce McCowin's journal . I recommend both!
